Commitment is the foundation

What is the difference between the tasks that you get done and the ones that stay on the ‘to-do’ list?

Why is it easier to commit to some tasks or projects than others?

Commitment is the foundation to a successful mindset. Without commitment, nothing will get completed, so you need to make sure that you understand why you want to take the course of action that you’re planning.

It’s also really important that you don’t commit to the wrong course of action, because if you do that, you will never get to your intended destination. So, how do you know what is the right way to go and which would be a mistake?

It is easy to think about what you want to do, and how you are going to do it. But is that inspirational enough? Does it spark the fire inside you and drive you to want to succeed?

What are your non-negotiable tasks that you commit to with your whole being? Which relationships are you absolutely committed to?

You need to know the purpose behind what you do. If you are clear on your purpose, or your ‘why’ for completing something, the commitment will come more easily, and you will be setting yourself up for success.

Here’s a short video of me sharing a bit more about why commitment is the foundation of a successful mindset, and what you can do to optimise your commitment to the right things.
